Draw/Design everyday, Week 8 – Alien
This week I’ve done a series of vector illustrations of a little grey alien guy. All started as a rough sketch either on paper or in Photoshop. Sketches were then imported into Illustrator and traced with either my own custom art brushes (the ray gun guy) or with a round brush with thickness controlled with pen pressure. Colours were quickly chucked in with the live paint tool. Some of these turned out OK so I might work on a few a bit more since they are all still quite rough.

Twas a fine spring evening back in 1953 when Buttercup the cow heard a strange and frightening sound. She stopped chewing her cud and looked around. Nothing there. She put her head back down to nibble off some more grass and found that ground was slowly moving away.
